This is the eighth edition of the Bike Safety Rodeo as proven, wonderful venue to reach a diverse community in the Kansas City area. The event provides free services to underserved population that require medical and financial services. This time around, special attention will be put in providing services to women, as part of the efforts to contribute to gender equality in our communities.

In 2014, the Bike Safety Rodeo had an attendance of over 500 people.

OBJECTIVES

 Provide free medical and financial services to families and individuals, such as glucose and blood pressure screenings, orientation on Affordable Care Act and Medicaid enrollment, referrals to low-cost hospitals and clinics, patient follow-up and assessment with payment plans with medical institutions.

 Increase the attendance to at least 600 people-more than 220 families in the Kansas City area!
